Symptoms

A wide variety of functionality lost or unexpected behavior is observed. Time stamps in HTML Server/JAS logs, kernel logs, or other logs are out of order.

If Oracle database is being used, there may be messages related time drifts and/or time stalls in the Oracle Database alert log. Examples:
