Symptoms

 

System is incorrectly creating blank Misc. State Tax records (F1 & F2) for Washington when an Oregon employee uses a DBA that is Tax exempt for Washington 9 digit work area.


STEPS:

1. Setup a PDBA (204) to be tax exempt; select DBA in P059116 then go to Row form and Tax Exemptions and put an "*" in the Tax Type 01 field.
2. Select an Oregon test employee (38 TARR and TARA) in the National & Fiscal Data screen.
3. Got to P07210I and enter an interim for the employee and PDBA 204 for a lump sum of $200 and Work Tax Area: 480370000.
4. Calculate the interim and review the Pay stub. Look at the Tax detail screen and notice that the system is incorrectly creating F1 and F2 tax type records for Work area 480370000.
