E1: ORCH: Orchestration with Data Request Only Returns Data When Searching on Specific Fields (Doc ID 2706918.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 02, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

An Orchestration that includes a Data Request only returns output when certain fields are searched on. For example, consider an Orchestration that only contains a Data Request on F4801. The Data Request filters on the Reference and 2nd Item Number columns and the variables that hold these values are defined as inputs for the Orchestration. The Orchestration returns the Order Number and for this example, there is a record where Order Number=454061, Reference=Particular, and 2nd Item Number=8610G. Running the Orchestration with the below input will return Order Number=454061 as expected:

Reference: Particular
2nd Item Number: 8610G

However, if the 2nd Item Number is removed from the input or if no value is entered for the 2nd Item Number, then no record is returned.
