Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The option "1 = Allow negative quantity available" for processing options 4. Transfer Quantity from P4113, has a different description in the Item help "1 Allow a transfer quantity that results in a negative on-hand quantity." .

Steps to replicate:

1.In the P4113, the processing option tab Process, 4. Transfer Quantity has the following options:

2.The Item Help for this processing option displays the information:

"Use this processing option to allow a transfer quantity that is greater than the on-hand quantity, which could result in a negative on-hand quantity.

Valid values are:

CAUTION: Allowing the on-hand quantity to be negative is not compatible with using the weighted average cost function.>

The option 1 from processing options is referring to "Quantity Available" but the Item Help is referring to "On-hand Quantity".

The description of the option 1, in the processing options P4113, tab Process, 4. Transfer Quantity, has to be the same with the Item help because both are correct.

This processing option for P4113 allows both "Quantity Available" and "On-hand Quantity" to be negative.
