E1: 49: Transportation Shipment Resetting the Ship Date On Sales Orders Once Order is Created (Doc ID 2716110.1)

Symptoms

Customer is entering Transportation sales orders and is using the Delivery Date preferences to set the Ship Date, Pick Date and Promised Delivery Date based on the Request Date at order entry. When orders are entered, these dates are set on the detail line. The order is saved, but when returning to the order the Promised Ship Date (PPDJ) has changed. This only appears to happen when the FRTH Freight Handling Code is = blank on the sales detail line.
The blank Freight Handling Code is set up with a special handling code of 9 (Bypass Rating and Routing) in UDC 42/FR. When other, non-blank, Freight handling codes also with special handling code of 9 are used then everything is working.
