E1: 76A: Incorrect Tax Value Displayed in Order Acceptance (P42232) and Online Invoice Tax Summary (P42235) (Doc ID 2718896.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 12, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Sales Order Processing - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

With AR localization active and the relevant tax configuration in place, during sales order entry, the optional P42232 (Display Before Accept) form that summarizes the order does not display the correct tax total. Once the order is saved and is accessed, the P42235 (Online Invoice Tax Summary) program also shows a false tax amount. Only the Online Invoice program (P42230) shows the valid total.

  1. Activate AR Country Code localization in the User Profile.
  2. Configure all elements of AR tax so that the tax comprises rates of 21%IVA (VAT), separate 2.5% and 3% ‘Percepcion’ taxes, and a further tax element of 6%, summing to 32.5%.

  3. Raise an order where the total is (for example) ARS 5804.93. When the ‘Display Before Accept’ form is shown, the tax amount is displayed as 1393.19, representing a tax percentage of 24%.

  4. The system correctly sums the IVA and one of the Percepcion taxes (21% + 3%) but fails to calculate the other two tax components of 6% and 2.5%.

  5. The Online Invoice shows a correct tax total of 1886.61, the full 32.5% of 5804.93.
