E1: 13: Request to Add Logic to Calculate the Planned Finish Date (DRQJ) When Update PM Schedule (R12807) Creates PM Work Order (Doc ID 2724105.1)

Last updated on JULY 10, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Capital Asset Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently it is possible to forecast the Preventive Maintenance and Work Order Start Date (STRT) when processing the R12807, Update PM Schedule. However, the Planned Finish Date (DRQJ) in the Work Order will always default to the same value as the Planned Start Date. If a different date is required, the Planned Finish Date needs to be updated manually in the Work Order header.

The request is to add logic to Update PM Schedule (R12807) such that the system would add days to the Planned Finish Date from the Planned Start Date (STRT). This could come from the Leadtime settings in the Item Branch from the model Work Order's Standard Parts/Labor Item. Another suggestion would be to calculate the DRQJ based on the Estimated Hours.
