E1: 76C: Sales Update Creates Incorrect Tax Entries for Transactions Below the Withholding Amounts Based on the Tax Setup for Colombia Localization (Doc ID 2725794.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 16, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Sales Order Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When running sales update (R42800) on a sales order below the minimum withholding amount, sales update is not creating correct tax entries in Tax Detail for Distribution Work File (F76CUI04) for the withholding amounts calculated below the minimum amount indicated in the minimum tax amount for Colombia localization.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Activate Colombia localization and setup Colombia tax
  2. Create a sales order order below the minimum amount indicated in tax setup for the order.
  3. Process the order through sales update.
  4. Review Tax Detail for Distribution Work File (F76CUI04) and note the tax entry is incorrect.
