E1: BSSV: Is There A Way To Disable tcp_nodelay In JDE instead Of At A Operating System Level? (Doc ID 2726653.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 06, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

There is a custom BSSV that does hundreds of call to a BSFN.

When doing a network analysis of this process and we have checked that there is a 40ms delay for a lot of ACK packet of 0 bytes. This is configured on the OS in the parameter tcp_delack_min. However, this parameter is not configurable on Oracle Linux 7 As described in Cannot Change the Timeout for TCP Delayed Acknowledgment on Oracle Linux (Doc ID 1599113.1).

Is it possible to add a configuration on JDE to enable or disable the socket option tcp_nodelay?
