E1: SVM: Binding the E1 Agent to Listen on Specific IP Address on a Machine Where Multiple Network Interfaces Are Installed (Doc ID 2726936.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 09, 2020

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After implementing multiple JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Enterprise Servers running in multiple timezones on a single machine following the "Time Zone Support for Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (Doc ID 1379886.1)" document, the E1 agents are still shown in Server Manager Management Console running from the same hostname. Also, when attempting to run the Health Check, all the tests are completed with Success except the BSFN run test which fails or is run on another Enterprise Server instance on the same machine. All the Enterprise Server instances are listening on the same port, but they have different PrimaryNode values defined under [CLUSTER] stanza in jde.ini configuration file.

Changes

Multiple timezone support has been implemented for multiple Enterprise Server instances running on the same machine and listening on the same port.
