When creating a purchase order with a kit parent the user is able to override the unit cost during order entry. Once the order has been saved, if the user reinquires on the order the unit cost field is disabled. The field is disabled regardless of the kit pricing level setting in the kit parent item master for the kit parent. For non kit items, the user is able to revise the unit cost on a saved purchase order detail line.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create a purchase order for a kit parent.
  2. The kit component window displays. Populate the quantities.
  3. During order entry, note the Unit Cost field is enabled.
  4. Save the order.
  5. Reinquire on the order. Note the Unit Cost field is disabled.
