E1: 12: Error: 006F “Invalid User Defined Depreciation” is Displayed when Entering a Depreciation Rule that Has Not been Set Up when using Depreciation Information (P1202) (Doc ID 2728392.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to change or add a new depreciation rule to the depreciation information (P1202) the following error 006F - Invalid User Defined Depreciation is returned.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Find the asset for which the rule needs changing using Depreciation Information (P1202).
2. Enter the Depreciation Rule that is not in the depreciation rules file (P12851) (Depreciation Method, Life Months, Initial Term, Compute Direction) and click enter.
3. Error 006F "Invalid User Defined Depreciation" is displayed.
