Symptoms

When taking Configured Sales Order row exit Item-->Configuration, the user sees the P32983 populate sometimes doing a wide open table scan and never returning data back.  However, if for the exact same Configured Order, they take the Row Exit => Configured Related Order ==> Form Exit to Display configuration which displays the same as the P32983 - It Works Correctly.

1.  Configured Order - Not working for Some Orders
   Row Exit to Item Configuration

2. Same order taking Row Exit => Configured Related Order ==> Form Exit to
    Display configuration - Works for All Work orders

This problem seems to have something  to do with Order Suffix

1. Inquire On Sales orders
2. Take Row Exit Item
3. Select Configuration
4. Some Order will do what looks like a Full Table Scan
