E1: SVM: Unable to Start or Stop the Managed Servers Deployed in a Weblogic Domain Running on Windows Using Server Manager Console and the Status of the Weblogic Server Is Shown as Stopped Although the AdminServer Is Started (Doc ID 2735966.1)

Symptoms

No managed instance registered in Server Manager Management Console can be started or stopped through Server Manager Console. The Managed Instances are deployed in a Weblogic domain, running on a Microsoft Windows machine. Also, the Weblogic server status is shown as stopped, although the Weblogic Console is started and it is accessible.

Also, in E1 agent log file create by the E1 agent running on the machine where Weblogic runs, collected with FINEST level (or while log.level=ALL in agent.properties) shows that specific Java class cannot be found while attempting to create Weblogic secure files:

 

Changes

 Weblogic has been recently patched and in order to apply the patches, a new version of OPatch had to be installed.
