Symptoms
P98616 W98616M Default Printer Revisions field User/Role (based on DD Alias USER) has Data Dictionary Override in FDA to disable 'DD Upper Case Only', therefore allowing Lowercase/Uppercase entry.
P00950 W00950F Row Security field User/Role (based on DD Alias USER) honors 'DD Upper Case Only', changing Lowercase entry to Uppercase after tab out of field.
When Inclusive Row security is set up for Alias USER in table F986167 with and E1 Database is SQL, ADD Default printer with Lowercase entry in field User/Role fails :
• WEB client
Row Security Violation - Add operation is not allowed on table.
Message in e1root.log
com.jdedwards.database.base.JDBException: [VALUE_NOT_VALID_FOR_FIELD] Value <lowercase E1User/Role entry> not valid for field F986167.USER.
• FAT client
Error: User not authorized to add data
CAUSE: Row security violation, user is not authorized to insert data into table.
