Symptoms

New sick leave pay type for Covid-19 Sick Leave/Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) will cause the employee and employer tax portion to differ in Tax History F06136. This causes the Tax Integrity Report R077011 to give the error codes 104.
0104 - Mismatch on Social Security (OASDI) amount.

Steps:

1. Setup a new pay type for sick leave and set Tax Exemption for tax type E (FICA employer paid). Also set US Leg/Reg W-2 IRS Defined Code for FFCRA (C1, C2, or C3). Per IRS the eligible Employer is not subject to the employer portion of social security tax imposed on those wages.
2. Use this pay type for sick leave employee has taken through Final Update R07250. This will cause tax type D for employee FICA to be different than tax type E for employer FICA.
3. Run Tax History Integrity Report (R077011) and note error code 104 for mismatch given for Tax History F06136 table.
