E1: 07 R07345 Historical Payroll Register Is Using Pay Period End Date, Not Check Date Causing Wrong Totals When Running Report By Quarter (Doc ID 2743989.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 13, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne US Payroll - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When a timecard has a work date in one quarter and a check date in another quarter, the check is not included in the Historical Payroll Register when submitted by Quarter.  The report when submitted by quarter should retrieve information by check date but instead is retrieving information by pay period end date.

Steps:
1. Create a timecard with work date in one quarter (March).
2. Pull through payroll and update with check date in next month (April) and update to history.
3. Submit the Historical Payroll Register by Quarter for the employee.
4. Review output.
