E1: OMW: User Defined Object (UDO) Changes Not Reflected in the Target Environment After Successful Project Promotion (Doc ID 2744776.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 18, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After making the required changes for a UDO (eg: Personal Form) in development (DV) web environment, it was checked in/shared and the project containing this UDO was successfully promoted to prototype (PY) enviroment using P98220W - Object Management Workbench - Web. There were no errors observed during promotion and the project status was updated from 21 to 26 as expected. When reviewing the same UDO object using P98220U - Work with User Defined Objects application in PY environment, status remains as Shared. UDO status should ideally change to Pending Promote in the target pathcode after the successful UDO promotion. As a result, the changes done for the UDO in DV are not yet reflected in PY, though the project was successfully promoted.
