E1: 47: Flat File Conversion Fails if Fields Are Formatted With Two Double Quotes With No Space ("") (Doc ID 2745855.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to run Inbound Flat File Conversion (R47002C) for the first time with EDI 850 Inbound, the program crashes and partially updates the EDI tables. The EDI Purchase Order Header - Inbound (F47011) record is written but the system fails to write an EDI Purchase Order Detail - Inbound (F47012) record.

The following error message appears in the JDE.LOG
- JDB3400009 - Failed to perform Insert for F47012

The 11th field in the EDI Purchase Order Header - Inbound (F47011) record which is the Successfully Processed (EDSP) flag is populated with a single quote (“) instead of a blank.

The corresponding input field in the flat file for this was two double quotes with no space (“”).
