Symptoms

Create a Form Extension on application P03B102|W03B102E in Tools Release 9.2.4.4.  Add Payment Instrument (RYIN) to the form header which allows Users to enter a Payment Instrument value when adding or updating AR Receipts.  Currently, a User must Form Exit to Additional Info (W03B102I) to add or update the Payment Instrument field.

In Update mode, the Form Extension is successful, the Payment Instrument value is retained when updating an existing record.  In Add mode, however, when adding a new AR Receipt, the Payment Instrument value is not retained and no error is issued.

Steps:

1. Create a new Form Extension on P03B102|W03B102E, add Payment Instrument (RYIN) to the Form Header
2. Save the Form Extension
3. Test in Update mode - enter a Payment Instrument value to an existing AR Receipt record, the value is retained
4. Test in Add mode - enter a new AR Receipt, add a Payment Instrument value, the value is not retained and no error is issued
