E1: 42: Changes Made to a New Sales Order Detail Line (P42101) is Not Retained When Status Code Limit is Set in P4210 Processing Options (Doc ID 2749027.1)

Symptoms

Changes made to a new sales order line in P42101 is not retained when the corresponding sales order line next status is equal or greater than the status code limit set in P4210 processing options.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. P4210 |xx - Set processing option 'Status code limit for changes' = 560
  2. P42101|xx - Set processing option to call P4210 | xx version
  3. P42101 - Enter a sales order for an item at status 520/540 and save
  4. P42101 - Re-inquire the order, create a new sales order line for an item for quantity 1 at status 520/560 and tab down
  5. Go back to the line and change the quantity from 1 to 2, enter revision reason and submit & close
  6. Re-inquire the order and observe the quantity changes made were not retained and is reverted back to its original quantity
