E1: 03B: The RR Rounding Record is Created in the Receipts Header Table (F03B14) with an Incorrect G/L Date Value when Working a Foreign Currency Deduction (F03B14, P03B40). (Doc ID 2749857.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Any cash receipt can be created with multiple deductions on it via Standard Receipts (P03B102). These deductions can be worked at different times.

When the cash receipt is in a foreign currency for a foreign currency invoice or invoices and has a different exchange rate than the invoice(s) matched on it, the system may use the R7 AAI to create a rounding record, with document type RR, in the Receipts Header table (F03B14). When the deductions on the receipt are worked at different times, with different exchange rates, whichever deduction is worked last, has a RR record created for it with an incorrect GL date: the system uses the GL date of the receipt creation and not that of when the deduction was worked.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. P0015A: exchange rate setup for USD and CAD
  2. P03B11: create invoices and credit memos with the following values:

  1. Post the receipt
  2. P03B40: match R5 nr 2 and nr 3 to RM 1 and RM 2 respectively, using Tickler = G/L date 12/31/2020, exchange rate 1.2812
  3. Post the batch

    2. Apply 139.55 to RM 3
