Symptoms

EnterpriseOne 9.2 HCM Employee Self Service

In Employee Self-Service for event for EC (Emergency Contact), NHR (New Hire), and MOV (Moving) the process flow calls P054111 W054111A (Emergency Contacts). This form has a control Contact Relationship which uses Data Dictionary item ATTL (which is Title).

When running Update Employee Personal Information to Live Tables (R054104) with processing options for Write Personal set to 3, and mode set to Final it updates Who's Who field Title (DD item ATTL), not the Who's Who field Contact Type (DD item NTYP).

Since ATTL is not tied to a UDC the field is free format and the user/employee can enter a mix of entries. Whereas Who's Who field Contact Type (DD item NTYP) is tied to UDC 01/CT (father, mother, sister, etc.).
