Symptoms

Using FTP connection for uploading file attachment.

On Tools Release 9.2.5.1, users are unable to upload or save any File type attachment in Media Object Editor. Issue occurs on both Classic Media Object Viewer and Enhanced Media Object Viewer.
(Note: StoreMedObjFilesInDB is set to false and UseMOWinNTShare is also set to false)

Issue occurs for all types of file attachments like .txt, .pdf, .img, etc. files.
Existing File attachments are working. Issue is with adding new file attachment from local.

In the JAS Instance temp location, the folders structure are created but the file is not placed in the folder. Hence, the file cannot be FTP to the file server.

 

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Run P01012 on the web client.
  2. Select a record and select Row Exit -> Attachments.
  3. Click Add and choose File attachment.
  4. Choose a file from the Local drive.
  5. Click OK to save.
  6. The above error is received.
