Symptoms

QPP earnings & QPP taxes for an employee over 70 years old is not reflected accurately on the Releve 1 and T4 pensionable earnings and contributions, year end forms.

Steps:

1.  Process payroll throughout the year, including employees who turn 70 years of age, with QPP calculating.

2.  Create the T4/RL1 year end work file.

3.  Review the forms and note the QPP Pensionable Earnings and Contributions do not reflect history.
