Symptoms
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne does offer clients the Item Master Inbound Transaction Process (R4101Z1I) in order to create the Item Master (F4101) records using z-file data, but we do not give them a way to upload the Item Unit of Measure Conversions table (F41002). Most inventory items require some unit of measure conversions in order to conduct daily business transactions,
Many clients that are first time users of EnterpriseOne or clients that started with E1 Financials and are now implementing Inventory and Distribution Modules, need a capability to import unit of measure conversion
records from their legacy system into EnterpriseOne.
Other existing JD Edwards customers acquire new companies with legacy systems and need to convert them to EnterpriseOne Distribution to integrate them as new divisions within their Enterprise.
