Symptoms

When there is more than one item cross reference set up in P4104 with the same Cross reference Item number but for different item numbers with overlapping effective date ranges and a sales order is entered through P4210 then the application does not consider the cross reference with the earliest expired date and just picks the first record it finds.
  

Steps to Duplicate:
1) P4104 Set up Item Cross reference for 2 different items with different Expired dates but with the same Cross reference Item number
2) Enter sales order using cross reference item number
3) Tab of line and item number resolved is Not the one with the earliest Expired date
