Symptoms
After the S&WM Work Order Workfile Generation (R1775) creates a workfile record (F4812), if the Customer on the Service Order needs to be changed, there is no functionality to make this change in the workfile. In the P17714 (Work Order), it is possible to change the Customer/Site Number using the form exit to Customer/Change Customer Inf. This calls the Update Customer Information window (P17718) and lauches the Material and Labor Update (R17715). However, this process does not move the Customer change to any related workfile record.
The request is to allow the ability to make Work Order Customer changes flow to any related workfile record (F4812). Below are possible options:
1. When the Material and Labor Update (R17715) is called from a Service Work Order, push the customer changes to the workfile. This would include any tax-related information.
2. After the Customer Number is changed in a Service Work Order (P17718 and R17715), enable the Transaction Re-extend row exit functionality in the P4812 so that the system can refresh the Customer and tax-related information.
