Symptoms

When an employee changes their address through ESS, if the Geocoder is active, the Resident Tax Area in the Employee Master is updated with an invalid Geocode.

STEPS:

   1. Setup a test employee and review their TARR in the National/Fiscal screen
   2. Run R054101 – build personal information, name-address with Data Selection for the employee.
   3- Set VERTEX user profile to that employee address number then fast path to P05410|ZJDE0009 (ESS Moving Version):
   4. Add a new contact and telephone number.
   5. Submit the changes.
   4- Run R054104 with Data Selection for the employee in Final mode and review the produced PF and notice the message: 1 Employee’s Residence Tax Area updated with a new GEO code.
   5- Go back and review the employees National/Fiscal screen and notice TARR has been incorrectly changed.
