Symptoms

When running Business Service (BSSV) for Customer Manager (JP010020), the processCustomer business function is not updating the Correspondence Method (also known as Send Method) - (F03012.CRMD). This field is part of the Customer Master EDI Information and should be updated as part of the Customer Master record.

Steps to duplicate:

  1. Run the Business Service for Customer Manager, processCustomer method for a new Customer with the Correspondence/Send Method (CRMD) populated for this new Customer, along with other identifying fields for this Customer.
  2. Note that once the process completes and the Customer Master record is updated, the Customer Master field for Correspondence Method is not populated. 
  3. To see this field in the JDE system go to Customer Master (P03013) and inquire on the Customer. Go to the EDI Information tab and note that it is not populated with a value in the Correspondence Method/Send Method.
