Last updated on MARCH 05, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Are there any potential issues with having all of your non-production data sources using one port number configured for Oracle database connections while all of your production data sources use a different port number configured for Oracle database connections?

The port number for non-production will use secure connections and the port number for production will not use secure connections.

The question is for tools release 9.2 and pertains to all E1 software components including the deployment server, the development client, the JAS server and the enterprise/batch server.
