Symptoms

The Inventory Transfer (P4113) and Item Reclassification (P4116) programs are updating the Item Location Last Receipt Date (F41021.LRCJ) when they are not an actual receipt from a Supplier Shipment of a Purchase Order.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

  1. Check the Item Ledger (P4111) for Item 230, Branch 30 in the primary location. The last PO Receipt transaction (OV) was on 2/18/2021.
  2. Check Item Availability (P41202). The Last Rcpt Date on the primary location is 2/18/2021 which matches up with the PO Receipt transaction 563636 OV in the Item Ledger (P4111) which occurred on 2/18/2021.
  3. Today is 3/13/2021. Enter an Inventory Transfer (P4113) of 10 units from Branch 10 Primary Location to Branch 30 Primary Location.
  4. Check Item Ledger (P4111). The Inventory Transfer (P4113) transaction appears on 3/13/2021.
  5. Check Item Availability (P41202) again. The Last Rcpt Date on the primary location is now 11/17/2019 which DOES NOT match up with the PO Receipt transaction 563636 OV in the Item Ledger (P4111) which occurred on 2/18/2021.
  6. Now enter an Inventory Reclassification (P4116) of 5 units from Item 220 Primary Location to Item 230 Primary Location.
  7. Check Item Ledger (P4111). The Inventory Reclassification (P4116) transaction appears on 3/13/2021.
  8. Check Item Availability (P41202) again. The Last Rcpt Date on the primary location is now 3/13/2021 which DOES NOT match up with the PO Receipt transaction (OV) in the Item Ledger (P4111) which occurred on 2/18/2021.
