E1: 30A: Interoperability Item Cost Components (P30026Z1) Fetching Lot Number (LOTN) from Next Numbers (Doc ID 2761100.1)

Last updated on MARCH 18, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Product Data Management - Version 9.2 to 9.2 [Release 9.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When adding a record in the Interoperability Item Cost Components program (P30026Z1), the system will fetch the next number for the Lot Number (LOTN) field. This value is not currently used in the Cost Components table (F30026), and the issue causes next numbers to be burned for the LOTN field.

Steps:
1. In Item Cost Components Revisions (P30026Z1), enter a record with Direction Indicator=1, Transaction Type JDEICC, Transaction Action 02, an Item Number, Branch, Cost Method = 07, Cost Type X1 and a cost in Simulated Net Added/Simulated Total.
2. Tab down; notice that the system fetches the next number for the LOTN field from Next Numbers (F0002, Product Code 40, N001).
