E1: 12: Depreciation Schedule Does Not Print Tax Ledger Information If Thru Dates Are For The Depreciation Rule (R12411) (Doc ID 2762873.1)

Last updated on MARCH 23, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Fixed Assets - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When running Depreciation Schedule (R12411) for an Asset which has a rule in Depreciation Rule Revisions (P12851) which has In Service Thru Date (DTTO) and Effective Thru Date (EFTE) set, R12411 will only print information for the AA ledger.

If the setup is changed, and the Thru Dates are removed, R12411 prints the information correctly.

Steps to Duplicate

1. From Work With Assets (P1204), enter a new Asset.
2. From Work With Assets (P1204), Row Exit Asset Master Info > Depr Information and make sure there are several ledges setup.
3. From Work With Assets (P1204), Row Exit Asset Balance Info > Beginning Balances and enter values for all ledgers.
4. In Depreciation Rule Revisions (P12851) edit the rule for AA ledger and set In Service Thru Date (DTTO) and Effective Thru Date (EFTE).
5. Run Depreciation Schedule (R12411) for the Asset for all ledgers (Ledger Type is blank in Processing Options).
6. Verify the PDF output is INCORRECT as it only contains data for AA ledger.
7. In Depreciation Rule Revisions (P12851) edit the rule for AA ledger and remove the values for In Service Thru Date (DTTO) and Effective Thru Date (EFTE).
8. Rerun Depreciation Schedule (R12411) with the same setup as at Step 5.
9. Verify the PDF output is correct.
