E1: BSFN: Modified NER Fails to Compile Successfully with Error C2059 - Syntax Error (Doc ID 2763079.1)

Symptoms

An NER (Named Event Rule) type business function is modified to contain an IF condition which compares an Integer type Data Structure Member with <BLANK> Value. Once this line of code is added to the NER, the NER will fail to compile successfully when doing a BSFN build for this business function. 

Steps to replicate :

  1. Create a custom NER and associate it with a business function data structure that has integer type member.(Refer Guide)
  2. Add below lines of code in NER
  3. Save the NER.
  4. Build the NER Business function by clicking Build business Function Button from Design Tools Tab.
  5. Following error is observed in build output :
