E1: 08: Non-employee DOB needed for ACA Reporting (Doc ID 2764089.1)

Last updated on MARCH 26, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Human Resources Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

As of 2020 reporting, for certain individuals age is a required field on the 1095-C.
If this individual is an employee, the age is derived from the Date of Birth (DOB) on the Employee Master.

The problem is, there are non-employees who require a 1095-C form, and age does not calculate for them because they are not in the Employee Master.
These records are rejected by the IRS when age is required.

Steps:
   1. Add a Participant Address Book.
   2. Within ACA Workbench, add a 1095-C form for this Participant.
   3. Print 1095-C and notice age is blank. (This is a required IRS field and blank or zero are invalid.)
