E1: 30: Engineering Change Population - R30510 UBE Should Allow ECO Changes and Bypass Error ‘Existing Bill Ineffective on Date Req’d’ Using New Time Details Fields
(Doc ID 2769165.1)
Last updated on APRIL 15, 2021
Applies to:
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Product Data Management - Version 9.2 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Currently, when changing a BOM (P3002) using the ECO process, the system only validates the fields Effective From (Alias: F3002. EFFF) and Effective Thru (Alias: F3002.EFFT) Dates, therefore if the user attempts to modify a BOM and Component combination in the same day of the BOM creation, these changes are not allowed and the system triggers the error 'Error Detected: Existing Bill Ineffective on Date Req'd' on the printed pdf output of R30510 ran in Proof or Final mode.
