E1: FDA: Hide/Show Columns not Displaying Correctly After Tools Release Update to 9.2.5.1 (Doc ID 2772198.1)

Last updated on APRIL 29, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When an application has Event Rules to Hide/Show columns based on a radio button or selection box, the hide/show feature does not function properly when the hide/show field is selected or deselected. The issue seems to occur when two or more columns have event rules for hide/show and when the column is set to icon.

For example, a custom application for Address Book hides/shows columns based on a selection box. When the the selection box is checked or unchecked to hide/show columns, the following occurs:

Steps:

1. Create a simple custom application, find/browse form (e.g. Address Book) and add Event Rules to hide/show columns (check/uncheck to hide/show Search Type and Cat Code 1)

2. Local Web Dev, Fast Path to the application, everything appears as expected

3. Click Find, everything still appears as expected

4. Select Hide sch type and click Find, note the following: Sch Type column hidden as expected, Cat Code 1 column heading still appears but should be hidden, Act Rep (Cat Code 2) column is hidden but should not be, Tax ID column appears as expected but column/data is misaligned

5. Deselect Hide sch type and click Find, note the following: Cat Code 1 column heading appears twice, Act Rep (Cat Code 2) column should appear, Tax ID column appears as expected but column/data is misaligned
