Last updated on OCTOBER 18, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CRM Sales Order Entry - Version 9.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Return Materials Authorization (P40051) the user filtered on records, selected an RMA line then took the Row exit to Sales Orders followed by Print Pick Slips.  The Print Pick Slip (R42520) version ran with wide open data selection. All open sales orders across all branch plants printed and processed.  The user had to halt the job and spent hours correcting the data.

Steps to Duplicate:

  1. In the processing options for Returned Materials Authorization (P40051) on the versions tab verify option 13 for Print Pick Slips is blank. Blank in this processing option calls the XJDE0001 version of R42520.
  2. Review the data selection for the XJDE0001 version of R42520. Note the data selection is blank. On the Edits tab of the processing options the Next Status From value is 520. The Next Status Thru value is 999.
  3. In P40051 inquire on records for Branch Plant 30 in Company 00001.
  4. The grid populates with RMA records, records from the Return Materials Authorization table (F40051).
  5. Select the radio button next to one record then take the Row exit to Sales Orders, Print Pick Slips.
  6. In Work with Submitted Jobs (WSJ) note R42520 version XJDE0001 submitted and processing.
  7. After job completes review the pdf. Note all sales orders with Next Status From 520 in all branch plants processed.
  8. The user has to use database utilities to correct all the open sales orders to return the orders to the pre-processed status.

The option to Print Pick Slips in Return Materials Authorization should pass the Sales Order number (DOCO) from the Returned Materials Authorization table (F40051) to Print Pick Slips (R42520). R42520 data selection is based on the Sales Order Detail table (F4211) rather than the F40051.
