Symptoms

Arizona Resident request Taxes to be computed when working in other states is not working as expected.
The system results with wrong tax calculation for the Arizona withholding percentage election option.

Based on the current reciprocity stated that Arizona withholding is not required from Arizona residents working in other states. However, Arizona residents employed outside of Arizona can complete the A-4V (volunteer withholding) form to elect to have Arizona income tax withheld from the employee paychecks. Employee turned in the A-4V form and the customer follow the Oracle steps recommended to enter the A-4V form via the additional tax override P0701732 to override the JIT and the AZ volunteer but it is currently not working. No AZ tax is withheld.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. On the Natl/Fiscal Data form (P0801US) enter the two-digit state geocode, 03, in the Resident and/or Work Tax Area fields.
2. Complete these fields on the Employee Tax Overrides form (P060120) as follows:
Tax Area Overridden: 03 (Arizona 2-digit state geocode)
Tax Type: F (State Income Tax)
TX Cr: (enter the appropriate code based on the elected percentage)
     8 Arizona 0%
     9 Arizona 1.30%
     10 Arizona 1.80%
     11 Arizona 2.70%
     12 Arizona 3.60%
     13 Arizona 4.20%
     14 Arizona 5.10%
     20 Arizona .8%
3. In Additional Tax Overrides (P0701732)tested with different combinations:
Override Tax Type R and W
     JIT Value 0, 1 and -1
     Arizona Voluntary 0 and 1
4. Ran Interim test for the employee with a time cards with Work Tax Area 27, and all the results were no Tax Type F.
