E1: E1PAGE: Classic E1Page Does Not Call Classic E1Page When Accessed Via Select Pages (Doc ID 2775882.1)

Last updated on MAY 14, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

A Classic E1Page can call a second Classic E1Page without issue when selecting the first Classic E1Page from the E1Page banner.
In this example, "Main" is the initial/primary Classic E1Page, and "Greenway" is the Classic E1Page on Main:

But when a Classic E1Page calls other Classic E1Page, and the initial/primary Classic E1Page is selected via "Select Pages" (hamburger icon), the link to the second Classic E1Page does not open.
The tile highlights when the mouse is hovering over the tile, but nothing happens when the tile is selected.

Classic E1Pages which call secondary Classic E1Pages should function the same whether they are selected from the E1Page banner or via "Select Pages" hamburger icon.

Steps to duplicate:

1. Create a Classic E1Page which calls another Classic E1Page (e.g. "Main" is the primary Classic E1Page, and "Greenway" is a Classic E1Page called from "Main")
2. Select the hamburger icon ("Select Pages") and select the primary Classic E1Page (e.g. Main)
3. Select the secondary Classic E1Page (e.g. Greenway) from the Main page, and confirm nothing happens.

Update to tool release or above and use the new "My Pages" feature explained in knowledge document E1: E1PAGE: "My Pages" New Feature for Classic and Composite Pages Starting with Tools Release (Doc ID 2647101.1
