Symptoms

When installing transaction server RTE Component from Server Manager on a WebLogic Vertical Cluster, following error appears on the screen.

Steps -

1. Follow the steps mentioned in the the section "15 Appendix H - Clustering for the JD Edwards Transaction Server on WebLogic Server" from Transaction Server Reference Guide for UNIX using WebLogic Server

2. Login to the Server Manager console

3. On Managed Homes and Managed Instances, click on the machine running the registered Oracle WebLogic Server

4. Click the Create New Managed Instance button.

5. On Create/Register A Managed Instance, Instance Type, click this radio button: EnterpriseOne Transaction Server

6. Enter the instance details

7. On Create/Register A Managed Instance, Finish, click the Create Instance button.
