E1: 41: Quantity on Hold Commitment Should Not Affect Availability (Doc ID 2778338.1)

Last updated on MAY 21, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Inventory Management - Version 9.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently, we do not have the functionality for quantity on hold commitments to not affect availability when the availability definition is set to subtract Quantity On Hold.

If the Branch/Plant Availability Definition is set to subtract Quantity on Hold, only the On-Hand quantity of the held location/lot is excluded from available calculation. However, the other quantity buckets for the held location/lot eg. Quantity Hard Committed to SO, On PO Receipts, if selected in Item Availability Definition will still affect the available calculation which distorts the true Item Available Quantity.

Requesting the ability to have quantity on hold commitments not affect availability
