Symptoms

Currently there is no validation for a new tax id variable in P01012BR (Address Book Additional Information – Brazil).  For the state of Distrito Federal (DF), the older tax ids have a length of 13 and the variable of 07.  The newer tax ids have a length of 13 and the variable of 08.

To duplicate the issue:

  1. Set Country Code to BR (Brazil) in User Profile
  2. Go to P01012 and add a new Address Book number
  3. Go to Form exit ----> Regional Information ----> Enter new Tax ID and new State Tax ID
  4. Receive a hard error when validating the new variable
