Symptoms

The Item Number Field is locked in Purchase Order Entry (P4310) on a J-Line Type order line after the line has been edited and the user is unable to correct it in the case where they entered it incorrectly.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Enter a Purchase Order with a J-Line Type and populate the Item Number Field
  2. Edit the Line
  3. Return to the line and attempt to enter the item number field to correct it.
  4. The field is locked and cannot be corrected.
