Last updated on JUNE 04, 2021

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After performing a Location Transfer (P12115) via the P1702 (Equipment Entry) Row Exit to Location Transfers, and pressing OK on the P1702, the P1702 erroneously updates the location to the Responsible Business Unit on the Equipment.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create a new P1702 record, with the Responsible Business Unit in location 200, for example.  Exit the P1702.
2. Reenter the P1702, and take the Form Exit to Location Transfer, and transfer to location YARD, for example.
3. This returns the user to P1702.  Press OK on the P1702.  The system remains on this form.  Now, form exit to Location Inquiry, and see the location YARD was made an historical location, and the Responsible BU on the equipment was made the current location.
