Goal

If when Accelerated Pricing Resolution Engine Scheduler (R45391) returns a cache error, has it already terminated the cache or is old cache (previous loaded cache) still there?

If it is using old cache to update prices then the pricing information is wrong because the pricing information has been updated since and the old cached information is obsolete.
If it is using the database to update prices, the performance will be slow but the prices will be updated with the latest information and be correct.
