E1: 30: Incorrect BOM Formula Did Not Check % Of Quantity (Doc ID 2783769.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to change quantity in the existing BOM and re-arrange Line Number in BOM, the system does not create an entry with valid changes for one of the line for the respective BOM in Bill of Materials Change File(F3011).

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Access Bill Of Material(P3002) and Inquire on the existing Parent item and Branch plant.
2. Select the record. The system displays 8 component lines with line numbers(1.00, 2.00 upto 8.00) each with respective Quantities for each line with FV as %. The total qty of all the lines is 100%
3. 1st Change : Now change the Quantity of component Line 1.00 from 30 to 30.5 and Component Line 6.00 from 25.5 to 25. And change line numbers from 1.00, 2.00, 3.00, 4.00, 5.00, 6.00, 7.00 to 9.00, 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 14.00, 15.00 and 16.00. Click OK and save it
4. 2nd Change : Change line numbers from 9.00 and 10.00 to 8.00 and 7.00 retaining the rest of the line numbers(11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 14.00, 15.00 and 16.00) as it is without making changes. Click OK and save it
5. The component line numbers are 8.00, 7.00, 11.00,12.00, 13.00, 14.00,15.00 and 16.00
5. 3rd Change : Change the Lines Numbers from 8.00, 7.00, 11.00,12.00, 13.00, 14.00,15.00 and 16.00 to 7.00, 6.00, 5.00, 4.00, 3.00, 2.00, 1.00 and 8.00. Click OK and save it
6. Check Bill of Materials Change File(F3011) file, Original Line number 7 is missing (come from change 2 because user key in Line number 7.00 in 2nd and 3rd change)
