E1: 13: Allow Preventing Hours in Labor Detail (P13732/P17732) from Updating Work Order Header (P13714/P17714) Estimated Downtime (ESDN) (Doc ID 2787493.1)

Last updated on JUNE 30, 2021

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Capital Asset Management - Version 9.2 and later
JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Service Management - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Currently when the Capital Asset Management Work Order Labor Details (P13732 or P17732) are updated with Estimated Hours and Estimated Duration, the system will automatically update the the Work Order header's Estimated Downtime Hours (ESDN). If the Estimated Downtime Hours field was originally populated manually in the header (P13714/P17714), the update to the Labor Details will override this value.

The request is to add an option to allow stopping the Estimated Downtime Hours from being overridden with the Estimated Duration (EDUR) from the Work Order Labor Detail. This would accommodate a business practice where an equipment is still in operation even though estimated Work Order hours are entered.
