E1: SVM: Runtime Metrics Are Not Displayed for a Newly Installed E1 HTML Instance After TLS v1.2/1.3 Has Been Configured, or 3DES Algorithm Has Been Re-Enabled (Doc ID 2787947.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 01, 2023

Applies to:

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools - Version 9.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After a new E1 HTML instance has been registered into Server Manager Management Console, the runtime metrics are not displayed.

If it is attempted to collect the embedded E1 agent logs, by adding “log.embedded.instances=true” in agent.properties, no log is created by the embedded E1 agent.

The “ManagementAgent_JAR.jar” file is available in the lib folder used by E1 HTML server instance.

The standalone E1 agent is able to communicate with the Server Manager Management Console on a secure JMX channel and all the steps required to enable TLS v1.2/1.3 or re-enable the 3DES algorithm have been followed for the standalone and embedded E1 agent.

Changes

A new E1 HTML instance has been installed from Server Manager Management Console
